YOUR CONSULTANTS

"What you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say."

Ralph Waldo Emmerson

You may have noticed that we have "Our Commitments To You" somewhere on every website page.  That's because the foundation of what we do is based on YOU.  We certainly offer unique skills, training, and expertise.  And we can tell you what you need to do to get divorced. But we want more than that for you.  In the midst of a highly stressful, life-changing event, we are passionately committed to being your mentors and coaches so you are more knowledgeable, empowered to action, emotionally stronger, and inspired to envision and create a great future for yourself and your children

Lisa Meiers

Founder  &  Partner

Lisa spent two years doing research and creating tools to empower herself in the emotional, legal, financial, and "real world" issues of being a single, working mother while going through her own protracted divorce. Having also twice been a child of divorce, she came to realize that she had the expertise and the passion to support others in making smart, practical, empowered decisions in all aspects of their divorce, and in 2003 she became a professional consultant, coach, and speaker.

Lisa has a degree in Economics from Wellesley College.  Her background includes negotiation & project management experience with Salomon Brothers on Wall Street and being a mother - both of which were challenging! She is also a health and wellness expert, currently being certified as a Certified Functional Medicine Coach by the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy.

Chuck Meiers, CPA

Partner

Chuck is a CPA whose varied experience brings breadth and depth to divorcing clients beyond other financial professionals.  His background includes working with Price Waterhouse, serving as the CFO of a $100,000,000 company, and extensive work as an entrepreneur and consultant with numerous smaller companies.  He has also done substantial formal training and study regarding the financial, tax, and business implications of divorce.  Having been a child of divorce and having experienced his own divorce, he has deep empathy for what families are going through in a divorce, and he is committed to sharing his expertise to support them in achieving a fair result in their dissolution process.

Chuck has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder and is a Certified Public Accountant.
