Where Else Can I Learn More About Divorce?
Take control...
We believe we can do a lot to support you in your divorce journey. You can also do a lot to support yourself - including digging in with your own research. If you do a web search relating to divorce, you will find hundreds of websites to choose from, and there are countless other books that you can find on Amazon. We have not done an exhaustive search by any means and we do not endorse these sites, but here are a few links to websites with broad overall information that you may find helpful:

As you begin exploring various sites, books, and other resources, you will find a lot of useful information. A few suggestions:
-
Keep a journal with questions that you want to follow up on with your attorney or other professionals on your team.
-
Understand your personal facts and circumstances and compare them to what you are reading. Are they exactly the same, or are there differences that you need to ask questions about?
-
Cross check information to ensure that it is consistent and up to date. Many online resources are not necessarily complete or current.
-
Laws and requirements vary state to state, and even county to county within a state. Make sure you understand where you are filing, and what the distinct requirements are for that county that may differ from what you are reading about.
We would also strongly suggest that you consider joining a divorce support group. Many churches, temples, or therapists sponsor these groups. A support group would allow you to speak with people who are going through the same emotional roller coaster that you are, and you can benefit from not only being able to speak with others on the same journey, but also from their experiences and mistakes.
